After some research we decided to adopt the liverpool pals cap badge and have recently had two standards designed by a friend of the band, they are to remember the liverpool pals battalions and the 30th division. I have posted the designs for everyone to see and let us know what you think.

<description>A Northern Ireland man has been cleared of the murders of 29 people who died in the Omagh bomb attack in 1998.

Sean Hoey, 38, of Molly Road in Jonesborough, was found not guilty of a total of 56 charges, including those not directly linked to the bombing.

Speaking at Belfast Crown Court, Mr Justice Weir was critical of police evidence and said they were guilty of a &quot;deliberate and calculated deception&quot;.

The DUP junior minister Ian Paisley Junior said the UDA should be judged on its actions and not on its words.

<description>UUP peer Lord Laird has said he will name the killers of south Armagh man Paul Quinn using parliamentary privilege on Monday.

Mr Quinn died after being severely beaten in County Monaghan last month.

His family said the IRA killed the 21-year-old after he had defied an order to leave the country. Sinn Fein denies any republican involvement.

&quot; The IRA Army Council did not sanction the killing, but IRA members did kill Paul,&quot; Lord Laird told the News Letter.

<description>A disabled mother-of-three has blamed a loyalist splinter group for an overnight attack on her car.

The windscreen of Eleanor Kinkaid's vehicle was smashed outside her home in the Rathfern estate in Newtownabbey.

The front window of her nephew's home was also smashed. No-one was injured in either attack.

She said the breakaway South East Antrim Brigade of the UDA was trying to &quot;intimidate&quot; her family into attending its parade in Rathcoole on Sunday.

<description>The Queen and fellow royals have attended a Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The Royal British Legion event honoured those who died in past conflicts, as well as in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The performance ended with a two-minute silence as thousands of poppies fell in memory of those who lost their lives.

Earlier, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall attended a service of remembrance in Whitehall, where they were joined by around 150 war widows.
